Nalateswari / Nalhateswari :-

 The temple of Nalhati, The recognized 45th place for pilgrims is embellished with the enchantment and hymns. The lord Shiva’s alter Nalhati is accepted as the incarnation of land Shiva’s. It is known from authentic source that the vial limb that is throat of the almighty was found at Nalhati. Some body told that the forehead of the almighty was found there and so Nalhati temple is called Nalateswari. Goddess kali appeared there. The temple of the almighty is situated on the top of the hill. The shape of almighty resembles stone. It is learnt that a certain merchant enthusiastically built the holy construction of the temple. It is also said that the queen Bhabani of Natur was on his way to Badyanath Dham. Having heard the mesmerizing sound of conch and the evening bell of the temple she appeared there and she also bestowed a considerable amount of requisites and property and made all arrangements for the worship goddess that it was under the supervision of the king. The distance from Nalhati to Howrah is 221 km. Pilgrims can easily reach that temple on fare as by rickshaw. Besides people can avail bus to reach the temple from Rampurhat.
